Nursery Manager

Up to £60,000 per year | Full Time | All Year Round

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Nursery Manager to lead a thriving nursery that's part of a well-established family-run group renowned for delivering exceptional early years education and care. The group is passionate about creating fun, nurturing environments where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to learn through play.

You'll be joining a nursery with an experienced management structure and a supportive senior leadership team, giving you the resources and autonomy to focus on maintaining high standards, developing your team, and delivering outstanding experiences for children and families.

We're looking for a confident leader with a proven track record as a Nursery Manager and a history of achieving positive Ofsted inspection outcomes.

What We're Looking For

  • Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above).
  • Previous experience as a Nursery Manager is essential.
  • A proven track record of achieving Good or Outstanding Ofsted inspection outcomes.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework, safeguarding, and statutory requirements.
  • Experience leading, developing, and motivating high-performing nursery teams.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • A genuine passion for delivering exceptional early years education and creating positive outcomes for children and families.

Your Role

  • Lead the day-to-day operation of the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care and education.
  • Inspire, mentor, and develop the nursery team, creating a positive and high-performing culture.
  • Drive continuous quality improvement and maintain compliance with EYFS and Ofsted requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, colleagues, and external professionals.
  • Oversee occupancy, staffing, budgets, and the operational performance of the nursery.
  • Work closely with the wider management team and senior leadership to achieve shared goals and maintain excellent standards.
  • Champion a fun, nurturing, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
  • Lead the nursery through future Ofsted inspections, maintaining the group's excellent reputation.
