Nursery Manager

Up to £55,000 per year | Full Time (4.5 Days per Week) | Level 3 Qualified

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Nursery Manager with a proven track record of achieving strong Ofsted outcomes to lead a beautiful nursery that provides a home-from-home environment for children aged 3 months to pre-school.

The nursery has been thoughtfully designed to create a warm, nurturing atmosphere where children feel safe, secure, and inspired to learn. With inviting indoor spaces and fun outdoor play areas and gardens, children are encouraged to explore, develop their independence, and enjoy learning through play every day.

As Nursery Manager, you'll have the opportunity to lead an established team, maintain the nursery's excellent standards, and continue driving quality across every aspect of the setting. What We're Looking For

  • Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience as a Nursery Manager is essential.
  • A strong history of achieving positive Ofsted inspection outcomes.
  • Excellent knowledge of the EYFS framework, safeguarding, and statutory requirements.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop teams.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • A genuine passion for delivering outstanding early years education and care.

Your Role

  • Lead the day-to-day operation of the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care and education.
  • Inspire, mentor, and develop the nursery team to achieve excellence in practice.
  • Drive continuous quality improvement and maintain outstanding standards across the setting.
  • Ensure full compliance with EYFS requirements, safeguarding procedures, and Ofsted regulations.
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, colleagues, and external professionals.
  • Oversee occupancy, staffing, budgets, and operational performance in partnership with senior leadership.
  • Create an environment where children feel happy, confident, and supported to reach their full potential.
  • Take an active role in preparing for and achieving excellent Ofsted outcomes.
