Nursery Manager

£40,000 - £50,000 (dependent on experience)
We are looking for an experienced Nursery Manager to lead a small, high-quality nursery in Wandsworth.
With a maximum of 15 children and plans to expand in the future, this role suits someone who wants genuine ownership of a setting and the opportunity to build something properly.
The Role
You will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the nursery, including:
- Leading and developing a small team
- Maintaining excellent standards of care, safeguarding and compliance
- Ensuring strong parent partnerships
- Overseeing curriculum quality and learning outcomes
- Preparing the setting for sustainable growth
This is a hands-on leadership role. You will be visible, present and fully accountable for the standards of the setting.
About You
- Proven experience as a Nursery Manager, or 3-4 years' experience as a Deputy Manager ready to step up
- Strong working knowledge of EYFS and Ofsted expectations
- Confident leading a team and setting clear standards
- Organised, commercially aware and solution-focused
- Montessori experience highly desirable (reflected at the upper end of the salary range)
- Relevant Qualifications in Early Years Education - Minium Level 3
