About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a compassionate and reliable Night Care Assistant to join a well-established nursing home in Wellingborough. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a dedicated team providing high-quality, person-centred care to residents during night hours.
As a Night Carer, you will play a vital role in ensuring residents feel safe, comfortable, and supported throughout the night.
Key Responsibilities
Providing personal care and support in line with individual care plans
Assisting residents with mobility and repositioning
Supporting continence care and night-time routines
Monitoring residents' wellbeing and reporting concerns to senior staff
Maintaining accurate records and documentation
Responding promptly to call bells and emergencies
Promoting dignity, independence, and respect at all times
Working collaboratively with nurses and the wider care team
Requirements
Previous experience in a care or nursing home setting preferred
Compassionate, patient, and professional approach
Good communication skills
Ability to work independently during night shifts
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
Care Certificate (desirable but not essential)
