We have an exhilarating opportunity for an experienced Band 6 CAMHS Practitioner to join the CAMHS Team at Birch Hill Hospital in Rochdale. Offering an impressive hourly rate of £26.50, this ongoing locum role allows you to make a meaningful impact on young people's mental health while enjoying flexibility with core hours from 9am–5pm, Monday to Friday. Additionally, flexible start and finish times are available, with options for a compressed working week of 8am–6pm over four days, 8am–4pm, 9am–6pm, or part-time.

What you will do:
- Conduct both urgent and routine mental health assessments for young people experiencing moderate to severe mental health challenges.
- Perform neurodevelopmental assessments for conditions such as ADHD and Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC).
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement care plans tailored to the unique needs of each young person.
- Engage with and support families and caregivers as part of the holistic care approach.
- Participate in team meetings and provide insights drawn from your experience in mental health nursing.
Requirements of the CAMHS Practitioner:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Mental Health Nursing.
- Proven experience working as a Mental Health Nurse, preferably within CAMHS.
- Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Prior experience with neurodevelopmental assessments is highly desirable.
