Mental Health Support workerLocation: FarnboroughPay Rate: £13.25 per hourShifts: Day shifts availableService Type: Transitional support from Mental Health Hospital/Forensic settingsAbout the RoleJoin a brand-new, specialist service in Farnborough designed to support individuals transitioning from mental health hospital or forensic settings into the community.
We are looking for compassionate, skilled Support Workers who can provide safe, structured, and person-centred care.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport individuals with complex mental health needs, including self-harm and suicide riskHelp manage behaviours that challenge using positive behaviour support techniquesPromote independence and community integrationWork closely with clinical teams to follow care plansMaintain accurate daily notes and risk management reportsRequirementsExperience supporting adults with mental health needs, self-harm behaviours, and challenging behaviourStrong understanding of risk and safeguarding practicesAbility to stay calm under pressure and work in a trauma-informed, professional wayPMVA, MAPA, or similar training (preferred but not essential)Flexibility to work day shiftsApply NowIf you have the right experience and want to make a real impact in a new, forward-thinking service, we'd love to hear from you.Please send your updated CV to
