What You Will Do

Provide effective leadership, management, and supervision to social workers and social care assessors across the peripatetic team.

Oversee casework, ensuring strengths-based assessments and personalised support planning in line with the Care Act 2014.

Manage staff performance, monitor workloads, oversee annual leave and sickness, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Lead safeguarding responses, ensuring timely and compliant action in line with legislation and Trafford's local policies.

Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary partners to deliver coordinated and high-quality support to adults with varied care needs.

Uphold and promote the principles of the Mental Capacity Act 2005, advocating for residents' independence, autonomy, and rights.
About You

You are a qualified Social Worker with active registration with Social Work England.
