Male Support Worker

At Elysium Healthcare, we’re looking for a Male Support Worker to join our friendly and dedicated team at 89 Ewell Road in Surbiton. This is a rewarding opportunity to support male residents with learning disabilities, autism, and behaviours that may be seen as challenging, helping them build confidence, develop independence, and live a full and valued life within the community.

You’ll be a caring and compassionate Support Worker who builds positive, trusting relationships through open communication, brings warmth and a good sense of humour to the team, shows resilience and reliability, and feels comfortable supporting residents with personal care when needed.

Ideal candidates will be drivers who enjoy high‑energy, active days and can confidently take part in regular activities such as football and other sports several times a week.

This is a permanent, full‑time role (37.5 hours per week), working day shifts on a rota, including weekends. This role is open to male applicants only, as the post involves providing personal care and support to male residents. This requirement is an Occupational Requirement permitted under Schedule 9, Paragraph 1 of the Equality Act 2010. A valid UK driving licence is preferred to support community activities.

You must live in the UK and have the Right to Work in the UK full time. 20‑hour Student and Skilled Worker visas cannot be accepted.
