What You Will Do

Manage Allegations: Receive, assess, and progress allegations made against individuals working with children, ensuring all actions follow statutory safeguarding guidance.

Lead Multi-Agency Coordination: Chair LADO strategy meetings, collaborating with police, HR teams, employers, and social care partners to ensure a cohesive safeguarding response.

Case Recording & Reporting: Maintain accurate and timely case records; track case progression; produce high-quality reports for senior management and external stakeholders.

Provide Expert Safeguarding Advice: Advise partner organisations on safer recruitment, professional conduct, and risk management, supporting them in meeting statutory duties.

Training & Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and deliver safeguarding training while nurturing strong relationships with key agencies across Coventry.

Drive Service Improvement: Contribute to service audits, policy development, and continuous improvement of local safeguarding practice.
