What You Will Do:

• Undertake the statutory role of Independent Reviewing Officer in line with the Children Act 1989 guidance
• Chair Looked After Children reviews and Child Protection conferences when required
• Monitor and review care plans, ensuring they meet statutory requirements and best practice standards
• Promote and uphold children's rights, ensuring their views and wishes are central to decision-making
• Develop and contribute to quality assurance frameworks, including audits and service improvements
• Provide expert advice and consultation on safeguarding and looked after children to professionals and partner agencies
