What You Will Do

  • Chair Statutory Reviews: Lead child-centred review meetings for children looked after, ensuring inclusive and meaningful participation.

  • Monitor Care Plans: Track progress, identify delays, and take proactive action to ensure plans remain effective and legally compliant.

  • Provide Professional Challenge: Use dispute resolution processes to address concerns and improve service delivery.

  • Safeguarding & Risk Management: Ensure safeguarding responsibilities are met and robust risk plans are in place.

  • Champion Children's Rights: Promote children's voices and support their active involvement in their reviews.

  • Multi-Agency Collaboration: Work closely with social workers, educators, carers, and other professionals to improve practice and outcomes.

  • Record & Report: Maintain accurate documentation and produce clear reports to monitor performance and evidence decision-making.
