Home Manager - Small Residential Home (Ellesmere Port)

Salary: £35,000+ per annum Hours: 40 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years as a Home Manager or a strong Deputy ready to step up

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Home Manager to lead a small, well‑established residential care home in Ellesmere Port. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Manager or a confident Deputy looking to take the next step in their career.

You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance and operational excellence while creating a warm, supportive and person‑centred environment for residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day‑to‑day running of the residential home

• Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and internal policies

• Lead, motivate and support the care team

• Maintain high standards of person‑centred care

• Manage staffing, rotas, recruitment and training

• Build strong relationships with residents, families and external professionals

• Drive continuous improvement and maintain a positive home culture

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Home Manager or a strong Deputy ready to step up

• Strong understanding of CQC standards and compliance

• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills

• Passion for delivering high‑quality care

• Ability to manage a small team and create a positive working environment
