An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Family Time Assistant ( 2 Posts) within the Erewash Locality and South Derbyshire and South Dales Locality. We are looking for a dynamic and committed individuals to play a role in Children's Social Care.

Posts available:

• 1 Permanent 37 hours per week - Erewash Locality - Please note this Base is subject to change from Ilkeston to Heanor in the near future.
• 1 Fixed Term for 12 months 37 hours per week - South Derbyshire an South Dales Locality - Base, Rink House, Rink Drive, Swadlincote.

Role basics:

• 37.00 hours per week.
• Monday to Friday.
• Office hours are generally 9-5, however flexibility is required due to commitments of this role which can take you before or beyond the standard times on occasion.
• No hybrid working arrangements.

The role of the Family Time Assistant supports the coordination of family time sessions including transportation of children, liaising with professionals and families, and supervising and recording of sessions. Family time sessions focus on maintaining contact between children and their families as part of any legal proceedings.

The role is locality-based and may involve travelling across the designated post locality and other areas of Derbyshire to deliver Family Time sessions in a variety of council and community venues. Applicants should be aware that travel is an integral part of this role.
