What you will do:

  • Provide duty cover and pre-allocation support for families on the allocation list with tasks such as home visits, safety planning, support, guidance, and signposting.

  • Engage with children, young people, and their families using a whole family approach.

  • Collaborate within multi-disciplinary teams to ensure effective practice and outcomes for young people and families.

  • Confidently support and appropriately challenge professionals and families as needed.

  • Organise and manage your time efficiently to meet deadlines and achieve targets.

  • Use IT systems effectively to input data for accurate recording, tracking, and monitoring purposes.

  • Be flexible with working hours, typically 9am to 5pm, with occasional adjustments to better meet family needs.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experienced and skilled in working with children, young people, and families using a comprehensive family approach.

  • Proven ability in engaging and working effectively within diverse family contexts.

  • Experience working in a multi-disciplinary environment and ability to handle complex casework situations.

  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
