Early Years Practitioner - Lewisham, South East London

Make a difference to children's development from a young age as an Early Years Practitioner in an inclusive nursery located in Lewisham.

As an Early Years Practitioner, you should hold a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years, and previous experience working in a childcare setting is essential.

This is a nursery with excellent resources, including a private garden and a sensory room, as well as regular days out to extend children's learning and stimulate their imagination. As an Early Years Practitioner, you will be a valued member of staff, the management team are very supportive and there will be various opportunities to progress in your career and take on further training.

This is a full time role to work 40 hours a week across either 4 or 5 days, with shifts between 7:30am and 6:30pm. Salary would be £30k per annum, and there are job opportunities across all age groups.

As a qualified Early Years Practitioner, you will: 

• Support children with their personal, social and emotional development
• Have knowledge of early childhood development and excellent understanding of EYFS
• Provide a safe, supportive, stimulating and language-rich environment for children
• Encourage development through play and exploration, leading and assisting with activities that stimulate children's imagination and creativity
• Be able to work collaboratively within a team and have strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Plan and deliver engaging activities
• Carry out observations to track and assess your key children's progress and development
