Location: Reading & surrounding areas
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time / Permanent

Driving Requirement: Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
Role Overview
As a Domiciliary Care Worker, you will travel between service users, delivering tailored support that promotes dignity, independence, and wellbeing.
Due to the nature of the role, a full UK driving licence and access to your own car are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Care & Support
Provide personal care, including washing, dressing, toileting, and continence care, in line with individual care plans.
Support with meal preparation, nutrition, hydration, and light household tasks.
Assist with mobility, transfers, and use of mobility aids.
Promote independence, choice, dignity, and respect at all times.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Support individuals with daily routines and maintaining their home environment.
Medication & Health
Assist with or administer medication in line with training, policies, and MAR charts.
Monitor and report changes in physical or mental health.
Support service users to attend medical appointments when required.
Follow safeguarding procedures and escalate concerns appropriately.
Health, Safety & Compliance
Work in line with CQC standards, company policies, and care regulations.
Follow risk assessments and lone working procedures.
Maintain a safe environment for service users and yourself.
Adhere to infection prevention and control guidelines.
Essential Requirements
Full UK driving licence
