Your key responsibility is to ensure the delivery of exceptional care to all service users, in line with the home's values, policies, and CQC standards.You will act as a role model and mentor to staff, assist in staff development, maintain accurate care records, and help manage the day-to-day operations of the home.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & ManagementSupport the Registered Manager in all aspects of service deliveryLead and motivate the care team to maintain high standards of supportAssist with rota management, staff supervision, and performance monitoringTake the lead during manager absence and on delegated shiftsParticipate in recruitment, induction, and ongoing training of staffPerson-Centred CareEnsure service users receive personalised care that reflects their individual needs, preferences, and goalsEncourage independence and involvement in daily living activitiesMonitor care plans and risk assessments, ensuring accuracy and effectivenessSupport with complex care tasks where required, including PEG feeds, manual handling, and mobility needs DesirableLevel 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social CareExperience in managing rotas and staffing levelsTraining in safeguarding, MCA/DoLS, and first aidKnowledge of supporting with stoma care, colostomy bags, or similar clinical tasks
