Duties
As a key member of our home’s leadership team, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting residents, assessing their needs and promoting their well-being, all while enabling them to continue to live their best lives.
- Creating, implementing and auditing person-centered care plans
- You will take charge of the home when the manager is unavailable, ensuring that all standards of care are maintained and the home continues to run smoothly and efficiently
- Lead your shift with positivity and effectiveness,fostering a warm and supportive environment for both residents and colleagues, assessing and promoting the needs of our elderly residents to enable our residents to live their best life.
- Embrace growth and learning, continuously evolving to provide the best possible care and support to our residents.
- Monitor residents' care and wellbeing and administer prescribed medicines and document in accordance with company and regulatory policies.
- You will possess excellent knowledge of person centered care and ensure respect and dignity is maintained at all times
- Coaching and leading a team of nurses and carers to deliver exceptional clinical care.
Experience
- Previous experience in deputising or leading a team, with a proven ability to manage staff and maintain high standards of care.
- Drive and commitment to provide high quality care and exceed expectations
- Experience of Dementia/End of Life care
- Experience working with an electronic care planning system, preferably PCS
- Experience in the development and implementation of person centered care planning
- (Desirable) L5 Leadership and Management qualification, showcasing advanced leadership skills and the ability to manage at a higher level.

Knowledge
- Hold a valid NMC registration and advanced clinical experience
