What you will do:

• Collaborate as a key member of the senior management team, working closely with the Executive Head of Childcare Services to manage the day-to-day operations within the three local authority maintained nursery provisions, ensuring top-quality service.
• Act with authority and confidence, deputising for the Executive Head of Childcare Services as needed to maintain seamless service coverage, especially when they are unavailable.
• Play a pivotal role in shaping and developing the ethos, policies, and practices of the centres, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional early education and childcare.
• Engage with stakeholders to ensure all regulations and best practice standards are met and exceeded within the childcare services.
• Contribute to strategic planning and implementation efforts that drive quality improvement and service excellence.
