Description
Hillside is looking to recruit a Deputy Manager to join the team. This is a full time, 40 hour role with the expectation to help with on-call duties.

Priory Hillside is a residential service, located just outside of Burnley. We provide support to three individuals, aged 17 years and above, who are on the autistic spectrum or who have a learning disability. We also cater for those who may have a mental health diagnosis, including a personality disorder.

Set within a beautiful rural setting, in the South Pennines area, we aim to help residents create and achieve goals, in order to lead a fulfilled and enriched life.

The service can also meet the needs of those who:
  • Present with moderate to significant challenging behaviour
  • May have communication difficulties
  • Have other conditions such as epilepsy and Prader-Willi syndrome



What you'll be doing
You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our residents wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of residents.
  • Holds regular staff meetings to foster good communication and feedback
  • Inducts and orientates new staff in a timely fashion and ensures statutory and
    other training is provided to maximise the ability of new staff to become integrated
    into the care setting
  • Carries out or ensures that all risk assessments e.g. clinical risk assessment,
    COSHH, Legionella, Moving & handling etc are carried out in a rigorous and timely
    manner
  • Proactively participates in the company quality and compliance policy and procedures

What you'll bring to the role

We are looking for a driver with experience at senior or deputy level who is comfortable handling both roles equally (20/20). You must be adaptable and confident in managing responsibilities across both positions.
