We're offering an exciting opportunity for a support worker to work alongside our client with complex needs in Chippenham, Wiltshire.
Pay: £15.54/£16.19 per hour weekdays, £16.19 Saturdays per hour & £16.85 per hour Sundays
Hours: 24 Per Week over two days (10:00 - 22:00 with sleep in)
About the Role
You'll be supporting a lady in her 20s who due to a brain injury has complex clinical needs, including cerebral palsy, epilepsy and learning difficulties. We're looking for someone with experience in support work and the ability to build a strong, supportive relationship through clear communication and empathy.
She lives in her own home, a purpose built property that she is very proud of. She enjoys a wide range of activities like cycling, swimming, badminton and walking while being very open to new experiences. Your role will be to support her physically and emotionally, helping her live life to the fullest.
What We're Looking For
Due to the client's needs, we're seeking a support worker with:- A genuine passion for care and making a difference
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature
- Reliable, committed, and flexible approach
- Experience in complex care and managing challenging behaviours
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Key Responsibilities- As a support worker, you will:
- Assist with personalised routines, including use of hoists
- Support with daily living activities such as personal hygiene and mobility
- Administer medication and monitor health conditions
- Provide emotional support and companionship
- Maintain accurate care records and report any changes
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members
