Superior Healthcare are currently recruiting a compassionate and dedicated Complex Care Assistant to support our Lithuanian client in Peterborough. Our client is living with the effects of a brain injury and spinal injury, requiring attentive, person-centered care to promote independence, comfort, and quality of life within their own home.

As a Complex Care Assistant, you'll work long-term with one or a few clients, supporting one person per shift. You'll assist clients with brain injury management, spinal injury ,PEG feeding, medication, personal care, moving and handling, and daily living tasks.

Your Responsibilities
As a Complex Care Assistant, you will support the client with:
- Personal care and daily living activities
- Mobility assistance and safe moving & handling
- Medication administration (following training)
- Monitoring health, wellbeing, and behavior changes
- Supporting therapy programs as advised by clinical professionals
- Providing emotional support and companionship
- Ensuring a safe, comfortable, and dignified environment
We are looking for someone who is:
- Compassionate, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality care
- Patient and confident supporting individuals with complex needs
- Able to work independently and follow care plans accurately
- A good communicator with a warm, professional approach
Requirements
- Right to work in the UK
- At least 12 months' experience in a care role
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Flexibility to work a range of shifts including evenings or weekends
- You must be based in the UK to apply for this role - we do not offer VISA sponsorship.
Our client will be going at a level two rehab facility whilst suitable accommodation is found and adaptations are made. You will be working initially alongside the facility team.
- Daily shifts at the rehab facility:
- 7:00am-2:30pm
- 2:30pm-10:00pm
- Expected transition to 12-hour shifts once the client returns home
- Potential patterns: 7/7 or 8/8 rotation
- Timescale for this change is still being finalized
- £14.30 - £17.60 per hour
