We are recruiting a Complex Care Assistant to support an upbeat and cheerful young lady in Snodland within a nurse-led package of care. The role involves providing high-quality, person-centred support with clinical needs, including tracheostomy care, seizure management, stoma care, PEG feeding (PEJ) and medication, moving and handling, 24/7 ventilation (Nippy 4), and deep and oral suctioning, ensuring her safety and wellbeing at all times.

Superior Healthcare provides round-the-clock care packages to support people living with long-term health conditions to live in the comfort and safety of their own homes.

As a Community Healthcare Assistant, you join our complex care team and will work long-term with one or a small number of clients. You will benefit from a fixed rota with the option of overtime.

We are ideally looking for carers, support workers and healthcare assistants who are keen to work full-time hours however part-time roles are offered.

How we'll support you:

Superior Healthcare will provide full, paid classroom-based training when you join us and paid induction shifts and ongoing supervision support from our in-house team of nurses and supervisors.

Shifts

Monday to Sunday 8am to 2pm (with the potential to increase to 12-hour day shifts)

Pay rates

£14.00 - £16.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • To show the client dignity and respect at all times.
  • To regularly refer to and follow care plans written by the Nurse Manager to ensure exceptional person-centred care is provided.
  • To be an advocate for the client, working in their best interest and in accordance with Superior Healthcare's policies and procedures.
  • To be calm, friendly and engaging with the client around their interests and hobbies.
  • To closely observe and monitor the client and keep thorough documentation.
Requirements
  • Minimum 6 months UK based care experience.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Full Right to work in the UK.
