Care Coordinator – Medway

Austen Allen Homecare is an award-winning domiciliary care provider delivering high-quality care across Dartford, Gravesham, Medway and East Kent. We’re now looking for a Care Coordinator to join our friendly Medway office team.

This is a fast-paced, varied role combining office-based coordination and community involvement, ideal for someone who enjoys responsibility, teamwork, and making a real difference in care delivery.

Flexibility is essential, including evenings, weekends, and participation in an on-call rota.

Key Responsibilities

• Scheduling and managing care rotas
• Setting up and maintaining care packages
• Supporting recruitment and interviewing care staff
• Acting as a key contact for staff, service users, and families
• Liaising with health and social care professionals
• Handling queries and complaints appropriately
• Carrying out spot checks, supervisions, and audits
• Supporting care delivery in the community when required
• Participating in the on-call rota (enhanced allowance paid)

About You

• Experience in domiciliary or community care
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Confident using IT systems
• Positive, team-focused attitude
• Flexible to work evenings and weekends
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

Hours

Full-time (Monday–Friday, hours TBC)
Evening, weekend, and on-call flexibility required

Salary

£13.00 per hour basic (dependent on experience/hours)
Up to £25k OTE including enhancements and on-call allowance
