Registered Manager - Children's Residential Home (EBD)
Location: Luton
Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum + Ofsted performance bonuses
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Home: Brand-new 3-bedded Children's Residential Home (EBD)

Howard Finley Care is delighted to be working on behalf of our client to recruit an experienced and ambitious Registered Manager for a brand-new children's residential home in Luton, supporting young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD).

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the opening and development of a new 3-bedded home, with clear growth plans in place. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in establishing a high-quality, therapeutic service from registration through to achieving strong Ofsted outcomes.

Key Duties:

• Lead the registration and opening of a new children's residential home in line with Ofsted requirements.
• Develop and embed a positive, child-centred culture focused on therapeutic care and positive outcomes.
• Recruit, lead, and develop a high-performing staff team.
• Ensure full compliance with safeguarding procedures, children's homes regulations, and quality standards.
• Drive continuous improvement and work towards achieving strong Ofsted inspection outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with senior leadership to support future service expansion and dual registration.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Registered Manager within children's residential care - essential
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent) - essential
• Strong experience supporting young people with EBD needs - essential
• Proven track record of Ofsted compliance and positive inspection outcomes - essential
• Experience opening or developing new services - desirable
