Children's Complex Care Assistant

Superior Healthcare is recruiting a compassionate and reliable Children's Complex Care Assistant to support a 15-year-old client with complex medical needs in their family home.

About the Client

• Lives at home with mum
• Medical conditions include Epilepsy and Global Developmental Delay
• Interests include animals, horse riding, and Disney's Stitch
• Home includes 5 large dogs, 2 cats, and 3 sugar gliders

Shifts Available

• Alternate Thursday nights: 8:00pm - 8:00am
• Overtime opportunities available

Pre-Employment Requirements

• Enhanced DBS check
• Three years' continuous referencing

Responsibilities

• Administration of oral medication
• Seizure monitoring and management
• Overnight observation to ensure safety and wellbeing Shifts Available

Requirements

• Experience with seizure management
• A clear communicator and good listener
• Takes pride in delivering high-quality care
• Respects the client's home environment
• Comfortable working around multiple pets
