Children's Complex Care Assistant

Superior Healthcare is recruiting a skilled and compassionate Children's Complex Care Assistant to support a 15-year-old client with complex clinical needs in their home.

About the Client

• Lives at home with mum
• Medical conditions include CHARGE syndrome and deafness

Shifts Available

• Tuesday and Wednesday nights
• 10:00pm - 7:00am

Pre-Employment Requirements

• Enhanced DBS check
• Three years' continuous referencing

Responsibilities

• Tracheostomy care
• Suctioning
• Administration of medication via PEG
• Supporting the client's safety and wellbeing throughout the night

Requirements

• Experience with tracheostomy care
• Confident administering medication via PEG
• A clear communicator and good listener
• Takes pride in delivering high-quality care
• Respects the client's home and family environment
• Driver preferred, but not essential
