What you will do

Conference Chairing: Chair Initial and Review Child Protection Conferences for approximately 80 children.
Family Participation: Ensure children, young people, and families are actively involved in conference planning and decision-making processes.
Safeguarding Leadership: Provide independent oversight and challenge to ensure robust safeguarding arrangements are in place.
Risk Analysis: Utilise Signs of Safety and other recognised frameworks to support risk assessment and informed decision-making.
Multi-Agency Working: Facilitate effective collaboration between social care, health, education, police, and partner agencies.
Quality Assurance: Ensure conferences are conducted in accordance with statutory guidance, local procedures, and best practice standards.
Decision Recording: Oversee accurate recording of conference outcomes, recommendations, and safeguarding plans.
Travel Across Bristol: Chair conferences at locations including Hartcliffe, Lawrence Weston, St Pauls, and City Hall.
