Earn an hourly wage of £37.52 - £45.20 while working full time or part time. Our office is conveniently based at Havering Town Hall, offering a dynamic and supportive environment. This role requires your presence in the office as Child Protection Conferences are held face to face, with limited remote working opportunities at the discretion of the Service Manager.

What you will do

• Chair Child Protection Conferences, ensuring the coordination and effectiveness of meetings.

• Evaluate and assess child protection plans, ensuring they align with legal guidelines and best practice.

• Liaise with social workers, families, and partner agencies to monitor and promote the welfare of children.

• Provide expert advice and guidance on child protection matters to safeguard children effectively.

• Maintain detailed and accurate records of all meetings and decisions.

With your essential management experience and preferred CP/IRO Chair experience, you will bring a wealth of knowledge to the role. Your understanding of relevant legislation, guidance, and practices will significantly impact child social care and protection work.
