Job Title: Team Leader - DaysLocation: Hailsham Job Type: Full-time Hours: 36 hours per week (8am - 8pm, including weekends) Pay: From £13.65 per hourJob DescriptionWe are looking for a dedicated and experienced Team Leader to join our care team in Hailsham.
As a Team Leader, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring that our residents receive the highest standard of care and support in line with individual care plans and regulatory requirements.You will lead by example, guiding and supervising care staff, promoting best practices, and stepping in with hands-on support when needed.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, mentor, and supervise a team of care staff during day shiftsEnsure high standards of person-centred care are delivered at all timesAdminister or oversee medication in line with care plans and medication policiesSupport staff with training, induction, and performance monitoringConduct care reviews, handovers, and ensure accurate documentationRespond promptly and professionally to emergencies and safeguarding concernsLiaise effectively with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and managementPromote dignity, respect, and independence among all service usersRequirementsNVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (required); Level 3 desirableMinimum 3 years' experience in a care setting (preferred)At least 1 year in a supervisory or senior carer role (preferred)Medication administration experience (preferred)Experience in elderly or dementia care (desirable)A valid UK driving licence (preferred but not essential)Strong communication and leadership skillsAbility to work alternate weekends Please send me your updated CV ****This home does not offer sponsorship****
