We are seeking a skilled Specialist CAMHS Practitioner to join our team in Guildford, working with children and young people with ADHD and ASD. This locum opportunity offers a competitive hourly rate of £31.00 and is available initially for 3 months, with the potential to extend to 6 months.

Core hours are 9:00–17:00, Monday to Friday, and both full-time and part-time applicants are welcome. Flexibility around start and finish times can be arranged for the right candidate, supporting a healthy work-life balance.

What you will do:

  • Conduct comprehensive ADHD and ASD diagnostic assessments, including dual assessments, ensuring safe and timely diagnostic pathways for children and young people awaiting assessment.

  • Collaborate closely with the CYP Neurodevelopmental Service to reduce assessment waiting times and improve service delivery.

  • Apply your expertise in neurodevelopmental assessments, including ADOS assessments.

  • Utilise SystmOne for clinical documentation where required (experience desirable).

  • Travel to various SaBP hubs when necessary to complete Dual and ADOS-2 assessments.

Requirements:

  • Essential experience in neurodevelopmental assessments, including ADOS assessments.

  • Ability to support CYP Neurodevelopmental Service delivery with a focus on ASD and ADHD pathways.
