What you will do:
- Form strong working relationships within the Primary Care Network by attending practice meetings and engaging in regular contact with practice staff.
- Deliver low-level mental health and wellbeing interventions to support early intervention and prevention activities for young people and families.
- Screen cases from primary care to understand presenting issues such as relationships, bullying, and substance use, and signpost to appropriate services.
- Provide mental health and emotional wellbeing advice, working closely with community CAMHS clinicians, GPs, and the multidisciplinary mental health team.
- Attend MDT meetings, ensuring appropriate and timely care for young people and carers, and contribute to the development of training packages for primary care practitioners.
- Work closely within networks to supervise and support other clinicians and contribute to a collaborative and inclusive primary care environment.
