What you will do:

  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and deliver caring, advice, and support to children, young people, and families within the CAMHS framework.
  • Manage a varied caseload, providing care coordination and person-centred, strengths-based interventions under supervision.
  • Develop and review individualised care plans, monitoring treatment outcomes, and delivering evidence-based interventions.
  • Provide practical and emotional support to patients and carers, promoting health and wellbeing throughout the care process.
  • Safeguard children, adults, and families by adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures, ensuring safety and care remains paramount.
  • Ensure accurate clinical documentation and produce high-quality patient records and information, supporting clarity and consistency.
  • Support inpatient CAMHS wards, including reviewing young people and conducting 1:1 observations when necessary.
  • Assist in delivering and supporting therapeutic group interventions under the supervision of senior staff.
  • Maintain adherence to the NMC Code (2015) and keep your clinical and professional knowledge up to date.

Salary range
