What You Will Do:

  • Conduct urgent mental health and risk assessments for children and young people presenting in crisis across community, home, and acute settings.

  • Develop and implement personalised crisis care and safety plans, ensuring least restrictive interventions.

  • Deliver brief, evidence-based interventions including DBT-informed, CBT, and solution-focused strategies.

  • Provide telephone triage and support for urgent referrals into CAMHS Crisis and Intensive Home Treatment pathways.

  • Work in partnership with social care, education, acute trusts, police, and voluntary agencies for coordinated care responses.

  • Participate in risk formulation meetings and care reviews for high-risk service users.
