This full-time position within the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) team is initially for 3 months with the possibility of extension. What you will do:
- Join the specialist Eating Disorder Day Service team to provide interventions, physical monitoring, and coordination of care for young people and their families.
- Intensively support families, children, and adolescents using the Family Therapy for Anorexia Nervosa (FT-AN) model.
- Provide evidence-based advice, guidance, and support to young people with eating disorders and their families.
- Work closely with families and young people to deliver compassionate, person-centred care tailored to individual needs.
- Lead the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based care, including health promotion activities.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and manage identified risks in line with policies and procedures.
- Deliver meal support and supervision, model healthy attitudes towards food, and provide practical assistance to young people, parents, and carers in accordance with care plans.
