What you will do

• Support the Team Manager in managing the daily operations of the fostering service.

• Supervise and support social workers and fostering staff, providing guidance and reflective supervision.

• Oversee foster carer assessments, including Form F assessments and panel submissions.

• Ensure robust support, supervision, and regular review of foster carers to maintain placement stability.

• Contribute to fostering panel processes, including report preparation and attending panels.

Person Specification
Qualifications

• Hold a degree in Social Work (BA/MA or equivalent).

• Evidence of continued professional development.

Registration & Compliance

• Must be registered with Social Work England.

• Strong knowledge of the Fostering Services (England) Regulations 2011, National Minimum Standards for Fostering, and the Children Act 1989.

• Enhanced DBS clearance is required.
