Job Title: Adults Advanced Practitioner - MASH Team

Salary: £35.00 per hour
Type: Locum, Full-time (Temporary, Ongoing, 37 hours per week)

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8:40 am - 5:00 pm (37 hours per week)
Working Arrangement: Hybrid (minimum three days per week office-based, subject to agreement with the Team Manager)

About the Role

Join our dynamic Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) Team in Oldham as an Adults Advanced Practitioner and take on an exciting role packed with challenges and opportunities. What you will do

  • Manage complex safeguarding cases within the Adult MASH service.
  • Undertake assessments and make timely, informed decisions regarding safeguarding concerns.
  • Chair safeguarding strategy meetings and complex multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings.
  • Provide professional guidance and support to social work staff within the front-door service.
  • Work effectively with partner agencies to ensure coordinated safeguarding responses.
  • Support service improvement initiatives and promote best practice across the team.
  • Maintain accurate and timely case records in accordance with legislative and organisational requirements.

Requirements

  • Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
  • Significant experience working within an Adult MASH, Duty Team, or other front-door adult social care service.
  • Experience chairing safeguarding meetings and complex MDT meetings.
  • Strong background in Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) services.
