What you will do:
- Provide expert advice, guidance, and consultation to frontline social workers on complex child protection matters.
- Support safeguarding decision-making by contributing specialist knowledge and best practice.
- Work collaboratively with families, partner agencies, and multidisciplinary professionals to promote positive outcomes for children and young people.
- Develop and contribute to safeguarding plans, ensuring statutory responsibilities are met.
- Mentor and support less experienced social workers, promoting reflective practice and professional development.
- Undertake specialist assessments and contribute to strategy discussions and service improvements.
- Participate in team meetings, audits, and quality assurance activities to enhance service delivery.
