About Learning Difficulties Jobs

Elsewhere we’ve already discussed this career area of social care in our learning disabilities jobs pages. Learning difficulties jobs offer the same opportunities. The phrase ‘Learning Difficulties’ is, perhaps, a more accurate description and one that is gaining increasing credibility over ‘learning disabilities’. The thinking behind this is that it more accurately describes the challenge that is presented to people. A disability may sometimes infer something that is to be managed or merely dealt with - something you just need to live with. Whereas a difficulty is a challenge to be faced when you have the correct tools with which to take it on. Learning difficulties jobs include those who work with moderate learning difficulties. Opportunities open up jobs working with learning difficulties in adults, learning mentor jobs, through to support workers in learning difficulties or social workers jobs in learning difficulties.
