    Job Description

    Our client is looking for a reliable and motivated person to join their professional team as a Waking Night Team Leader (Social Care) at their service in Carrickfergus. This is a permanent, part time position working 35 hours per week.

    Salary: £17,188 - £18,943 per annum, pro rata (FTE 37.5 hrs)

    About the role

    The Team leader will need to manage the day to day running of a responsive innovative and high quality service for people sensory impairments and complex needs. Special attention will be paid to the creation of a continuous learning environment that will seek to maximise the potential of each person.

    You will assist the manager in the running of the service including co-ordinating a small team of Waking Night Support Workers to ensure that all shared responsibilities are fulfilled and systems maintained.

    About you

    The successful candidate will need to demonstrate willingness to participate in training and development. . You will be expected to work on your own initiative and show patience and understanding as well as being able to deal with challenging situations.

    The successful candidate will have a proven track record of motivating others including carrying out supervision meetings. You will have experience of working with adults with disabilities, monitoring the care provided and identifying and resolving issues arising from the 'day to day' operation.
