Job Description
Registered Mental Nurse, Team Leader (day duty only)
£28,585 - £32,293 per annum
37.5 hours per week
Wallington, Surrey
We are looking to recruit a motivated registered RMN to join our dedicated staff team at Woodcote Road, a registered nursing home for 12 residents. The philosophy of the home is on rehabilitation with a strong emphasis on resident involvement.
Our ideal candidate will have a good working knowledge of CQC standards and be person centred in their approach to care. You will be engaging with our residents, enabling them to develop their skills and confidence, including managing their mental health so it is important that you have excellent communication skills, and the ability to understand residents’ needs. As a key worker, we will ensure that you have the time and resources to make a real difference to our residents’ lives.
You will lead a team of Support Workers on a daily basis, as well as being involved in their development and ensuring that their passion for delivering excellent care is continually developed. You will need effective leadership skills, and will be expected to act as a champion for everything that you do.
You must be prepared to work flexibly to a roster of earlies and late shifts which will include weekends. We are committed to ensuring a work/life balance for our staff and can consider requests for cross-shifts and long days.
