Role: Children's Home Manager
Location: Bideford and Tiverton
Salary: Up to £35,000
I am currently recruiting for a Registered Manager for a children's home in Bideford, and another in Tiverton.
My client is ever expanding, and now has 15 beautiful homes scattered across Devon.
The home has 5 beds and provides care for young people with an EBD background. The children's home has achieved "Good" ratings from Ofsted, and is looking for a manager to maintain and improve these excellent standards.
As Children's Home Manager you will have overall responsibility for your allocated home overseeing the residential deputy managers, shift managers and support workers. You will take part in the on call rota with the Deputy Manager and Head of Care who also work closely on site and whom you report into.
The ideal Children's Home Manager MUST have recent experience of working within a children's residential setting and have senior level experience and have NVQ Level 3 Children and Young People and be working towards NVQ/QCF Level 5 Leadership and management qualification.
