Dean Healthcare are an established provider for nursing care, social care, healthcare, community care and permanent recruitment. We provide agency support to a wide range of individuals with mental health needs, learning difficulties and physical disabilities in an assortment of nursing, care and residential homes, as well as supported living services. We enjoy working with a diverse range of clients; from small independent homes through to national organisations.
We are currently seeking friendly and experienced support workers to join our team at a small residential home, this is a small, welcoming, person-centred environment. Our residents have learning disabilities and are aged between 65 and 73. Most do not have any verbal communication, but are skilled at making their needs known.
As one of our dedicated support workers you will be assisting residents in their daily lives, including personal care and general household duties. Our residents love to go out in the community and enjoy visiting local garden centres, cafes and shops and will be using wheelchairs when out and about. We continuously aim to provide support in all daily living activities which suit the needs and wishes of our service users, keeping them healthy, happy and safe within organisational and regulatory standards, policies and procedures.
As this home provides 24 hours a day, 7 days a week services, we can offer staff a variety of hours, including early, late, twilight and weekend shifts.
• Minimum of 9 months experience within the health and social care sector
