We are currently seeking experienced and pro-active care support workers to join our team at a small dedicated home for elderly disabled residents.
We currently serve 6 residents, all of whom are female. Many have poor mobility or are in wheelchairs. The home is situated on a busy main road and we have our own vehicle to allow residents to access many local facilities, including shops, pubs and the cinema.
As one of our dedicated support workers you will be helping residents with their day-to-day needs, which will include high levels of personal care, food preparation and tidying/cleaning suites. You will also support our residents in accessing our extensive activities program, our residents like to leave the house daily, and are involved in many leisure and community activities which includes visiting local facilities, local day centres, shopping trips and visits to Weston Super Mare for fish and chips on the sea front.
As this home provides 24 hours a day, 7 days a week services, we can offer staff a variety of hours, including early, late, waking night and weekend shifts.
• Minimum of 9 months experience within the health and social care sector

• Experience and training in manual handling – we provide this free of charge
• Competitive rates of pay starting from £7.85 - £10.00 p/h
