    Job Description

    Interim Assistant Deputy Manager - Dementia Nursing Home

    6 Month Fixed Contract

    Cromer, Norfolk

    £35,000 + Benefits (Bonus, Pension)     

    RGN or RMN Qualified

        

    Remit     

    Compass Associates are working with a valued client who is currently looking to recruit an Interim Assistant Deputy home manager for their large purpose built elderly, Dementia Care Home based in Cromer, Norfolk. The successful candidate will need to have previous experience working with in a  busy nursing home, coming with a Nursing Pin, with experience and knowledge in CQC and Safeguarding would be desirable. My client desires someone who has good leadership skills and previous experience of working at a senior level in the nursing home setting.

         

    Responsibilities       

    Supporting home manager and deputy manager to develop and improve services 

    Lead and manage care and nursing teams as required

    Carry out competency assessments with care and nursing staff

    Commitment to developing teams to support service improvement

           

    Requirements     

    RGN/RMN Nurse qualification with live NMC registration essential

    Need to be experienced as a clinical/senior nurse or similar in an older people nursing home

    Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of delivering  good/outstanding care

    Experience in leading and supervising teams

    Experienced in delivering care to people with dementia

    Strong written and verbal communication skills

     

    Benefits

    Salary of £35,000 per year  

    6 Month Fixed Contract

    Excellent for someone looking for experience in a higher management role

       

    Location

    This role is based in Cromer, Norfolk and is easily commutable from Norwich, Blakeney, Briston, and Wroxham. Cromer Station is a 15 minute walk from the Nursing Home.

    My client is seeking an experienced RGN or RMN Looking for a step up to Deputy Management with a 6 month fixed term contract where the successful candidate is able to lead and inspire a team. In exchange my clients are offering a salary of £35,000 plus excellent bonus & benefits.
