Position: Deputy Care Home Manager
Location: Congleton, Cheshire
Salary: up to £9.00 - £10.00 per hour
40 hours per week.
On behalf of my client I am seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Deputy Home Manager within the Congleton area to join an established, ethical and leading care organisation. This role would be the perfect opportunity for an experienced Deputy or Senior Carer/ Senior Support worker looking for the next step in their career as full training will be provided.
My client provide outstanding and person centered care to the elderly and people living with Dementia across the U.K. This wonderful organisation will provide bespoke training, continuing support and career development opportunities for the successful Deputy Home Manager.
The home itself is set amongst beautiful surroundings, is smaller than average has an excellent recent CQC rating.
If you are an experienced Deputy Home Manager looking for a new challenge within an established home and established organisation which has an excellent reputation within the local community and with CQC then this could be the opportunity for you.
The Responsibilities of the Deputy Residential Manager will include:
Your role as deputy manager will be to support the Home Manager in the day to day running of the home. You will be experienced in writing high quality care plans, in the supervisions of staff and in recruitment and selection. The successful Deputy Manager will have excellent interpersonal skills, and be passionate about ensuring person centered care is providing at all times. The day to day responsibilities for the Deputy Manager will be partly on the floor amongst the team and part supernumery.
Experience at a senior level within a Residential Elderly Care Home.
Excellent management skills / motivational skills.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
NVQ Level 3 / NVQ Level 4 or working towards Level 5.
Experience of carrying out audits/ care planning and assessment.
