Home Manager - Learning Disabilities
My client requires a Manager who has worked in residential services with Learning Disability experience. The home is owned and run by an excellent organisation with a superb industry reputation. The company have a huge focus on providing the best care possible, taking a person centred approach and supporting the independence of the user.
This is a small service in the Bromley area, which has a good reputation CQC rating and is close to local shops and near public transport. The individual will need experience in LD and mental health experience would be useful; they must have a proven track record as a manager and the ability to deliver outcome focused care in a busy and demanding environment.
To succeed in this position you should have prior management experience within a LD home and be looking for a new challenge. You will ideally be qualified to NVQ 5 / RMA. The role offers a salary of around the £40k mark depending on experience. This is an amazing opportunity for committed and motivated managers to become part of the growing organisation by managing one of their care homes.
You will have proven skills in leadership, challenging behaviours and complex needs coupled with a thorough knowledge of the essential standards of quality and safety and its implementation, alongside the determination and drive to develop and succeed.
NVQ Level 5 Health and Social Care or above and RMA desirable.
Experience supporting and working with adults and young people with LD/MH/Challenging Behaviour.
Preferable (RGN/RNLD or RMN) qualifications.
