We are delighted to be working exclusively with one of the top Care providers in the UK and we are looking to appoint a Clinical Lead for a 70 bedded unit inside a beautiful and fully compliant nursing home based in the Chingford area.
Our client is looking for qualified candidates who will be an asset to their nursing team and promote an atmosphere which enables residents to live as independently as possible.
Role: Clinical Lead of a General Nursing and Demntia unit
Perfect for: Nurse looking to step up and Senior Nurses with good clinical skills/management skills or Home Managers/Deputys looking to step down.
Hours: Full time - 40 Hours a week
Shifts: x1 - 12 hour shift (Clinical Shift) x3 - 9-5 shifts (Supernumary work)
Salary: £45,000 (£21.60 an hour)
Hours: 40 hour contract
This beautiful Nursing Home specialises in General Nursing and Dementia care services for the elderly. The two services are split between two units, so Nurses with the correct skill sets can work on a chosen unit.
This includes; nursing care for elderly, respite care, end-of-life care and advanced dementia services.

It is essential for candidates to have expereince in; Auditing, Action Plans, Care Plans, Wound Care, All Generel Skills and Dementia Care.
The role ideally is for you to Support and Advise Nurses on Clinical Practice.
Responsible for ensuring the highest standards of person centered care are being delivered at all times by undertaking accurate assessment and planning of care, delivery and ongoing evaluation of the care plans. Observing and carrying out appropriate hand-overs to ensure the detail and accuracy of service user information being provided. Carryout nursing tasks including distribution of medication, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding and management of chronic medical conditions. Provide support and guidance to all staff, providing demonstrations and instructions of care activities, particularly in relation to the induction and mentoring of new staff. Understand personal responsibilities in relation to the Health and Safety at Work Act and fire safety and evacuation procedures, demonstrating a working knowledge of COSHH assessments applicable in your area of work. Liaise with health and social care professionals involved in the wellbeing of individual residents to maintain a holistic approach to their care. As well as family members.
Valid NMC PIN Update DBS check / willing to undergo a DBS check Ideally minimum of 6 months' experience in a Care Home with Vulnerable Adults or similar setting Working to the standards set by the Regulators and by external bodies.
