I am working on behalf of a reputable home care service provider that requires an experienced branch manager to oversee their branch in the Handforth, Stockport area.
Launched in 2009, The desire to raise care standards and improve access to attentive, considerate care-at-home on a much larger scale led in 2009 to the launch of the company. Since then, they have steadily expanded throughout the UK and Ireland.
They have an enviable reputation for providing exceptionally high standards of home care. This has been earned by drawing upon the unique experience gained over the past 25 years, and by endeavouring to always maintain uncompromisingly high standards of commitment to serving our customers in a caring, friendly and professional way.
Now with over 75 branches throughout the UK, they have an established and respected presence in many local communities. They work closely with the support organisations within those communities, to ensure that they provide the home care services that local residents are most in need of.
This particular branch is a service based in the Handforth, south east Manchester area. They are a small, family run, friendly and informal home care branch and they all share the passion for delivering high quality care for their clients.
You will be responsible for marketing and promoting the branch and effectively increasing the number of hours delivered, currently around Apply hours / week. You will also be required to interview, recruit and maintain good levels of training & staff development, ensuring high levels of compliance are achieved and ensuring budgetary control amongst other duties.
This role is a full-time role, 09.00am - 5.30pm, Monday to Friday with flexibility to work around these hours. You will also be required to liaise with service users and professional parties out in the field giving you a good balance of management both in and out of the branch.
You will be a personable, positive and essentially strong registered branch manager and ideally have a proven successful track record within domiciliary care, as you will be required to hit the ground running. You will have an excellent understanding of CQC key lines of enquiry and have the ability to positively maintain or even better Good CQC scores across the board. You will have excellent business sense, with a good understanding of policies & procedures and the ability to take the company to the next level and a desire to work to high standards. You will be a resilient individual with excellent leadership qualities and be able to develop your team in a competitive area. NVQ level 4 or 5 would be highly desirable or at least working towards this is essential.
