They are looking for an experienced Deputy Manager, or somebody with extensive Senior Care Assistant/Team Leader experience.
About the Home:
Surrounded by magnificent mature gardens, the Home is a residential care home for older people in a village near Barnsley. With 32 beds, the home also provides respite, convalescent and day care services.
The 18th century manor house has been fully refurbished and redecorated to create a cosy and comfortable home and the bathroom facilities are fitted with modern equipment to ensure the health and safety of residents with limited mobility.
The candidate will have Care Home Deputy Manager experience and the ability to lead and manage a team of staff in the absence of the Care Home Manager, whilst supporting the Manager in the day-to-day running of the Care Home and to proactively deputise where required.
Provide support and leadership to the care home staff.
Ensure the delivery of quality care - continually assessing the resident's needs and wishes and developing the service to enhance their quality of life.
Positively influence the reputation of the home - communicating professionally and warmly with visitors including family, friends and other external stakeholders.
Level 3 Health and Social Care
Deputy Manager or extensive experience as a senior.
Desirable Personal Attributes

Excellent time management and organisational skills, and ability to work on own initiative is essential.
